About me

Why am I running again for Lord Mayor?

If re-elected as Lord Mayor, I will lead a council that delivers a clear vision of the world’s most creative, liveable and connected city.

Now is not the time to lose momentum, we need to continue forging a path for a reinvigorated world-leading city. It’s for this reason, and because there is still much more to do, that I will once again ask for your support as I run for Lord Mayor.

I will build a future-focused team for Adelaide, representing our community through collaboration, creativity and conscience – a responsible capital city government that will pull its weight and work with the state and federal governments to solve the challenges of the new post-COVID economy, climate change, housing and homelessness and reconciliation.

In the past four years, we’ve been faced with an unprecedented global pandemic. In response we reallocated resources, time and effort into supporting students, residents and businesses and then bringing people safely back to the city.

For the first time in 9 years we brought the budget back to black. We also realigned our long term finances and reviewed all assets and property.
